Walkie Stacker Parts - Pallet stackers are a kind of pallet jack that may be employed to stack, transfer and lift commodities positioned on a pallet that are far too tedious for physical lifting. Mostly these mechanisms are employed to load and unload supplies from trucks and to move pallets from one site to another within a stockroom of storage space. For the most part pallet stackers are built of heavy duty materials to hold up extreme weights. Pallet stackers are sometimes referred to as pallet jacks. They can be operated from a seated, upright or walk-behind position. Pallet jacks are separated into manual and powered styles.

Pallet stackers are generally comprised of a pair of forks that are capable of sliding beneath a pallet, capable of lifting to a preferred height or moving it to a specific location. The motor section or casing houses the gas-run, electronic or hydraulic apparatus that powers the machine.

Manual pallet jacks are hand-powered. They function hydraulically to make lifting heavy pallets an easier task. Usually a walk-behind model meaning they are utilized by pulling and pushing the stacker to its desired location. Using a foot pedal or handle raises the stacker's forks. Squeezing a lever or trigger returns the forks to the ground. These designs of pallet stackers are perfect for lighter loads of up to approximately 1 ton or 907.18 kg.

Most jacks can accommodate the raising of heavy weights to around 5 tons with either the gas or electric models. They are physically less demanding to maneuver than the manual models due to the hydraulic power that hoists and lowers the forks. These styles are steered by turning the handle in a particular direction. There is a button on the handle that functions to raise and lower the forks. A throttle set up on the stacker's grips moves the appliance forward and in reverse. This style of equipment is regularly referred to as a forklift and is operated from a sit-down position.

Selecting the right model of pallet jack may be somewhat important as designs will have varying lift features, together with varying fork widths. Some models of stackers may only allow two pallets to be loaded at one time, while other versions may be able to load several pallets. Certain versions of these forklifts include an changeable fork so as to allow the stacker to slide under pallets of unusual sizes and shapes. Multiple fork models might be fairly successful when different types of pallets are being utilized in the same stockroom.
